Niagra Falls

Niagra Falls is intense. Nature at its most powerful and majestic. Really beautiful.

Downstream from the waterfalls are turbulent white-water rapids. Class-6, the most forceful in the world. Watching them is hypnotic.

Robin enjoyed the trip. She turned off her phone and immersed herself in the experience. The scariest part occurred in an underground cave leading to the main waterfall. As you approach the cave's opening, the roar of falling water grows louder and louder. Just before Robin and I exited the cave into a thunderous, wet unknown, she turned to me and said words I will never forget. She said, "You go first..."

  22. Funnily enough, I remember the first time we went to Niagara Falls when I was a child with my parents. I loved being on the boat -- we had to wear I believe, blue rain jackets. I still got a bit soaked. haha. Great photos buddy! <3

    1. There are two boats. The one on the American side (Maid in the Mist) uses blue rain-ponchos; the one on the Canadian side (Hornblower) uses red rain-ponchos.

  23. What fabulously candid, memorable travel photos. I love that we get to see you two really experiencing the moment in this breathtaking place, not simply the scenery. That makes the experience all the more real for those of us (now) enjoying it at home.
