Very cute outfit! The dress is a little on the short side, but it looks really good.
To answer your question, I don't know that I go into a meditative state when I sew - if I have large quantities of fabric and long seams it may happen, but with the resizing and refashioning I've been doing lately it's just small steps and then something else again. It is relaxing, though, and takes my mind off things that may be bothering me.
Oh the shoes....! So lovely! And the floral pattern is so my style! You're a beauty! And you don't stop to amaze me with your kindness every day... (and kindness is a virtue that speaks to my heart and I don't ever take it for granted.) Kisses
Wonderful spring mix of heady florals and classic polka dots- I wished we wore the same size of shoe, so I could borrow your adorable espradrilles. the Citizen Rosebud
Love that you wore the patterned dress with the polka dot shoes. Super cute. And your makeup looks FAB! Did you do something different? Your face looks so pretty.
Thanks, Tracy. Yes, I tried a new approach to my eyes and spent more time than usual playing around with ideas. My eyelids are an odd shape and I've always been confused about how to do them.
Loving this ensemble!! From the shoes I need to go buy before they sell out to the pretty sunny dress! I'd wear this from head to toe!! Springtime outfit cuteness!
This post gave me a big old grin! Just fun and flirty- perfect!
The pattern-mixing is great, not overdone or disjointed like many attempts I see. And the cut of that dress is divine on you... gives the illusion of curves.
Great pattern mixing. I love the dress (it's a wonderful cut) and the shoes.
ReplyDeleteOMG! This is my Favorite look so far! I Love the mixing of floral and polka dot. Fabulous!
