Longwood Gardens is a beautiful botanical garden in Pennsylvania. Last March, I visited it with my blogging-friends
Meghan and Megan Mae. (
Report and photos here.) When I heard the garden was having a special outdoor light-show, I decided to return, this time with Robin. We went on Saturday with nice weather and a large, polite crowd. (You could tell we weren't in New York any more by all the "Excuse me"-s and "Thank you"-s.)
Inspired by the setting, I tried to make my photos more artistic than usual. I hope you enjoy them. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend you visit the garden.
Lovely! What type of camera are you using? I love the gazebo picture.

DeleteThese are beautiful and evocative of the tranquillity of this space. Lovely to see Robin again too!x
ReplyDeleteWhat a jaw-droppingly beautiful location. My word! I can't see gardens like this in any part of the world and not think of what a perfect setting they'd be for a Jane Austen movie.
ReplyDeleteHappiest Columbus Day wishes to you and Robin!

Oh my goodness, I absolutely love botanical gardens. And I can't wait to visit this one. I've already saved the location in my phone. Thanks for the inspiration with this post.

I'm joining the garden as a member, which entitles me to bring guests for free. If you ever want to go down, let me treat you!
DeleteOh what a beautiful place. I love the photo of Robin hiding in the gazebo. So funny about the politeness. When I first moved to California from New York I couldn't figure out why everyone was always saying "Hi" to me. Did they know me? Nope. Just good old Not New York.
