I'll admit the outfit is a bit avant-garde but most great art is. The best thing is it's one-size-fits-all.
What do you think? Would you wear this to a fancy cocktail party? Does it need a belt?
For those of you with long memories, I wore this once before. Searching through my old photos, I saw it, laughed and thought I'd share it again.
This sums up how I feel about the so-called Fashion Week...
ReplyDeleteI know! Haute fashion perplexes me.
DeleteThe House of Rubbermaid is on the rise! They make a lovely colander/hat. xo
ReplyDeleteyoure hilarous. Love your wit :) You look good in anything, even a garbage can!! happy weekend
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo! It's a cross between a Vogue advertisement and a Magritte painting! Thank you for sharing it, you made me smile.
ReplyDeleteLOL...what to wear on a bad hair day...or a really good leg day!
ReplyDeleteI got a good chuckle out of this. The Poubelle is avant garde and challenging to wear, but I have to say, the boxy cut accentuates your shapely legs. ;)
ReplyDeleteHa!!! I have a friend at music camp who sometimes jokingly wears a large herb infuser (like two collanders) as a bikini. Seems similar!!x
ReplyDeleteHa this made me chuckle for sure! Nice one Ally :)
ReplyDelete(Those legs!!!)
Honey those legs of yours even make this Paris fashion look fracktabulously amazing!
ReplyDeleteHeartily seconded! Kezzie signposted me over here and all I could think was DAMN, GIRL - THOSE LEGS.
Deletexxx
P.S. Apologies that my first ever visit to your blog has resulted in what's basically typed wolf-whistling.
No problem! Thanks for visiting.
DeleteYou know, I maybe would have added a "pop" of color with a red pump...
ReplyDeleteI'm kidding, of course! This is perfect and your legs are AMAZING!!!
I have a card with this picture on it ... I guess a belt would compliment the outfit perfectly!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course your legs are showcased to perfection in this little number!!!
LOL, you deserve the "glove" award (see Melanie's recent post at Bag and a Beret)!
ReplyDeleteYou are hysterical and you have great legs!! Maybe add a pink boa! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for this laugh!

Haute couture!
ReplyDeleteJust my style. Although I do think it could maybe use a neckline for the head to go through. Just a thought. Otherwise, the perfect LBD.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I want your legs. Second, you remind me of that lamp from the Christmas movie with the leg in fishnets!
ReplyDeleteOh la la! If anyone can make a trash can look sexy, it's you my dear :)
ReplyDeleteHa ha! I'm going to ask about poubelle the next time I'm in France.
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, with those legs they do make garbage look good.
bisous
Suzanne
