New York City

I had a nice time in NYC today. Visited a spy museum (very entertaining), savored brunch at Russ & Daughters cafe, shoe-shopped at Fluevog and ended the day with coffee and pastry in Soho. One weird thing, though; a woman next to me at the R&D counter ate her bagel and cream cheese WITH A KNIFE AND FORK. Huh? Who does that?!

P.S., I'm reading a best-selling book by an ex-CIA agent (Jason Hanson) on how to use spy techniques in normal life. The book's Acknowledgements page made me laugh out loud so I'm sharing it with you below.

    That reminds me of Seinfeld when someone ate a chocolate bar with a knife and fork. Pretty weird if you ask me.

    If the bagel is really hot I'll begin eating it with fork and knife- same as pizza. Then as it gets cooler i eat with my hands :)

    This sounds like a perfect city day. I must confess I have not been to any of those places. I am glad you shared them. That sounds like a fun book and I agree the acknowledgment is hysterically funny !
    Spy techniques can come in handy these days I am imagine. Yikes!

    Nothing surprises me in NYC, but eating a bagel with a knife and fork is very odd :) LOL, what a fun book! Also I am interested to hear more about this spy museum!
