Opening The Door

I've always wanted to shoot outdoors but felt too intimidated.  Today, I gathered my courage and decided to do it, no matter what.  There was perfect Fall light which I wanted to use.

The best thing about outdoor light is the color-saturation it creates.  To maximize that, I chose an outfit with extreme colors.  The top is new, from New York & Co., on sale for $29.  I'm in love with my metallic gold flats from Payless for $16.  The pants were a serendipitous find deep in my clothing bins.

    Love! The color saturation also works well for your hair, picking up the jewel tones in the lower tiers of the top.

    You look so happy! Especially the sitting-in-the-deck-chair-picture is really cute. The weather and the light are truly amazing, and so is your outfit. Pink pants are "Advanced Level" style in my book, and you make them look great!

    Cute! I'm not the biggest fan of bright pink/too much of one color, so I'm a bad person to ask. The shirt might look good with some dark jeans and a dark jacket.

    I really like that top. I would have paired it with either denims or a Burgundy colored pants!!! Also, like your knotted necklace :D

    I love taking pictures outdoors!! Amazingly, I love it when people watch me have my picture taken. I thrive off the energy of the audience that always seems to gather. It makes me do better.

    Oooh this is soooo cute! I could totally see a similar look on Eek. I love the eye searing colors, and that ruffled top is very flattering on your shape. Congrats on shooting outside. I totally prefer shooting outside in the natural sunlight.

    I love the outdoor pics! The shirt looks like it was made for the pants :) You do the same thing I do, squint! How do we take pics outside, in the beautiful sun without squinting? :( I dunno.

    Oh, and those shoes are gorgeous and I love the way they shimmer in the sunlight. I can't believe you got them at Payless! And for so cheap! Was it recent?! I might have to take a trip there soon. Hehe.

    My pictures look wonky when I take them inside, so I always try to go outdoors even if the light isn't perfect. I haven't met a single person who looks bad in hot pink. It's one of my absolute favorite colors, and you look beautiful!

    I have about 10 pairs of Payless shoes. They look super cute and they're a great bargain.
