It was usually traditional for my family to put the tree up right after Thanksgiving and leave it until the new year.

Granted I am firmly anti-tree. Too many years being made to put up the family tree on my own as though it was fun to decorate it by myself. ): We also always had a fake tree and I hated touching them.

I do have a few ornaments that I hang on my wire-star bowl I have on the wall.Megan Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10169811757787686946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4885867892898159023.post-27179331264806642152015-12-02T16:19:19.862-05:002015-12-02T16:19:19.862-05:00I have some beautiful faberge egg style decoration...I have some beautiful faberge egg style decorations we found at my Grandad's house when he died which I kept- not used them yet and want to! As for me... it's been a bit hectic, haven't had time to think about Christmas (or anything else for that matter), but I should get to it soon. I usually take out a few selected ornaments, some of them old and some less old, both in Finland and in England (never mind where we'll stay over Christmas), but I tend to leave it till the last minute.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01822796974112289222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4885867892898159023.post-37659639470013699412015-11-30T10:30:42.628-05:002015-11-30T10:30:42.628-05:00What a good idea for homes without cats! I'll be borrowing non-breakable ornaments from a friend who is a retired first-grade teacher with an inexhaustable supply of paper, pipe-cleaner and cotton ball doodads. She may even toss in a few ribbons strung with Cherrios and Fruit-Loops.

Now to sort out my Christmas tree pin collection. Have you seen the elebenty zillion ways these can be displayed as ornaments or accessories? Moi, I'd like to find a gigantic mushroom of a green velvet beret and affix them thereto! This would provide built-in storage convenience and spare my pet black velvet blazer the pin holes.

Beth Waltzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02720634636307254576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4885867892898159023.post-53826588401058202122015-11-30T07:59:58.141-05:002015-11-30T07:59:58.141-05:00I agree. They'd be a great way to show off some ornaments that I might want to display in an area (say, like a powder room counter) that was too small for even most mini sized (faux) trees.

Happy last day of November wishes,
♥ JessicaWitchcrafted Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992822472797191121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4885867892898159023.post-54381333537590379312015-11-30T00:48:11.673-05:002015-11-30T00:48:11.673-05:00I like your Snoopy ornament! I've been collecting Snoopy ornaments for years.
I am in the middle of moving, so not sure about the Christmas tree plans - I have two fake ones, one small and one tiny (tabletop). I am thinking about setting up my tabletop one as soon as possible because I love to eat breakfast while looking at the Christmas tree lights ... it makes waking up for work so much more bearable.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02581539654647664405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4885867892898159023.post-14696740909697008032015-11-29T19:59:19.379-05:002015-11-29T19:59:19.379-05:00I'm starting to think about Christmas decorati...I'm starting to think about Christmas decorating now.
